Description:
This project investigates the contemporary application of streamlining principles rooted in early industrial design by asking: what if objects did not merely look aerodynamic, but were actually shaped by aerodynamic performance? To explore this idea, I designed and fabricated a functional wind tunnel that enabled the collection of both quantitative and qualitative data. Using this tool, the second phase of the project reimagined the packaging for an Old Spice 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Three design variants were developed and tested, with all packaging modeled and refined in SolidWorks.
